Bionica sees the light

The potato has been in the ground throughout the season. During a cold, slow Spring, and a heatwave in Summer.

Saturday 10th of August is the perfect day to harvest the Bionica from the soft soil. Under a sky with accidental clouds they saw light for the first time.

The harvest is now preserved in the barn.

The bag… Niek’s White.

We have developed a special bag to help Bionica in the market. The bag tells about Niek's White and it’s miracle. Nature Food Stores and Supermarkets are now interested. We hope it finds it’s way to many more consumers.

Bionica. Harvest.

The Bionica was tested at our farm for years. Meyer tried the trading but Bionica wasn’t asked for enough and so she was put aside. But we think this strong potato doesn’t deserve that. So we bring her to the market ourselves and gave her a clear name-Niek’s White-. The ODIN organisation took the first steps.



We won’t be surprised that this potato which can resist blight has yet unknown nutritional qualities.
